Sometimes the reason your skin feels dry, tight or rough is not a missing product - it is a daily habit working against you.
The good news: once you spot them, these are easy to fix.
1. Long, hot showers
A hot shower feels wonderful, but hot water strips away the natural oils that keep your skin soft and protected.
What to do instead: keep showers a little cooler and shorter, and apply your oil to damp skin straight after.
2. All-day air-conditioning
Air-conditioning quietly pulls water out of your skin the entire time you are in it.
What to do instead: a sealing face oil keeps moisture from escaping, so air-conditioning has less to take.
3. Relying on cream alone
A water-based moisturizer hydrates the surface briefly. In heat and AC, that water evaporates, and the lipids your skin actually needs never get replaced.
What to do instead: finish with oil.
4. Over-cleansing and over-exfoliating
Washing too often, or scrubbing too hard, strips the barrier and leaves skin more vulnerable than before.
What to do instead: cleanse gently, exfoliate sparingly, and replace what you remove with a nourishing oil.
The pattern behind all of them
Most of these habits remove oil and moisture, and nothing puts it back. A few drops of plant oil, used consistently on damp skin, quietly undo a lot of this daily damage.
